The Mobipax Municipal Lightning Detector is designed to estimate the distance from the unit to thunderstorms based on the
strength of the storms. The unit can be mounted on a pole, or a building, in parks, pool areas, golf courses or any location where people gather outdoors.
The loud siren and super-bright LED's indicate the strength of lightning events, and alert users to the storm's intensity.
The lights and siren provide notification that people should seek shelter from the storm.
The detector is tube shaped, 6 feet long x 3 inches round, and is powered by either Solar Power or by 115VAC/230VAC.
A green Power LED indicates if the unit is on. The device is FCC Part 15B approved. It has an Easy-Mount Bracket to mount on a wall or pole/beam.
The pole is made of aluminum and high-strength transparent poly carbonate to withstand sports-related impacts and severe weather.
The Solar Powered Lightnig Detectors can be mounted anywhere the 100W Solar Panel can be mounted in sunlight.
The 115VAC/230VAC Lightning Detectors must be wired by an electrician.

Select and enable daily 'Hours of Operation', allowing the Lightning Detectors' LEDs/SIREN to operate only during specific hours.
Control the Siren's Volume Mute->Loud
Test the device's Siren and Lights. Testing is as easy as pushing the TEST button on the Administrator's Mobile Application.
Neighbor Saver - An optional feature that can be added to allow the Siren to be automatically muted at dusk (no daylight = no sound) and during the night. You will still see the notification but the voulme will be reduced or muted when it is dark out to not interfere with neighbors during the night.
This feature does not affect the LED lights, only the sound. (Mobile App can be used to configure LED lighting and timers)
MP3 Installation Pole - Direct bury 16 foot (12 above ground) 3” Schedule 40 pole with electrical connection and mounting holes pre-drilled for the MP3 Lightning Detector. Powder-coated Black. Requires 4 foot deep hole and cement installation to support high winds and errant pole climbers.
